Italian manufacturer (with a base in LA) F-pedals is a brand new company that is a bit of an enigma, yet has some very interesting endeavors underway. At the moment, they sell just two micro pedals (the Edstortion and the Phazevibe) and a line of cables (with great bulk pricing), but they have already signed on world-renowned engineer Eddie Kramer - best known for recording the bulk of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin albums along with dozens of other iconic classic rockers – to endorse the first two stomp boxes.... Brooklyn/Athens based trio Bambara plays that niche genre - unknown to most mortals - called "noise rock." You may have more luck getting a reaction from saying the words "Sonic Youth," the NYC band that pioneered it in the late 80s. In their latest album "Dreamviolence," the trio takes things to darker and sometimes even noisier extremes. We asked them a few questions about how it came together. After lending his creative juices to (great) bands Apollo Sunshine and Yellowbirds, Brooklyn songwriter, musician and producer Sam Cohen decided it was time to go solo.
