Catalinbread EG1 Lo-Fi Delay

When Portland's Catalinbread set out to design the EG-1, their goal was to move past the simple buzzword of "lo-fi" and truly examine what physical degradation and signal decay actually feel like. Built as the second release on their tap-tempo platform, the EG1 packages up to 900ms of delay time…... Click for more

NativeAudio In the Water Reflector

There's a Blackfeet story about Old Man — Napi — who saw berries reflected in a stream and kept diving in to grab them. Every time he came up empty, he saw them again, dove deeper, tied rocks to his legs, nearly drowned. Finally he crawled to shore, looked up,…... Click for more

Native Audio Pattern Keeper Looper

The looper is a tired format. Most of them just capture and repeat—useful, boring, done. NativeAudio's Mike Trombley looked at that and asked: what if the loop kept moving? The Pattern Keeper is a phrase modulator disguised as a looper. Sixty seconds of stereo recording at 48kHz/24-bit, analog dry path,…... Click for more

New Pedal: MXR Textures Granular Synth Engine

Most pedals take what you play and hand it back to you more or less intact. The MXR Textures does the opposite. It takes your signal, pulls it apart into tiny pieces called grains, and lets you rearrange them into something that barely resembles where you started. Inside the box…... Click for more
