Although it’s presented as a Lo-Fi Chorus, the Buzzing Bugs Audio Devices BB03 has what it takes to be called a small multi-effect pedal.
Hand-built in Cornwall, UK, this simple, compact device offers not only the classic vintage modulation effect through its Depth and Time knob (the latter controlling the modulation speed) but also a Lo-Fi effect via the Age control, which simulates at once the artifacts of worn-out cassette tapes and warped vinyl records.
On top of that. a simple reverb adjustable through the Room knob, while the Mix control reintegrates the dry signal back in, which means not only greater tonal flexibility but also the ability to create a vibrato effect when turned all the way down.
