Hailing from an up-and-coming North Carolina-based builder, the Humanoid Pedals The Entity is a medium gain overdrive with characteristics similar to the Klon Centaur, but not a Klone by any measure.
“Transparent” and “touch-sensitive” are the buzzwords in this case, granted by a two clipping stage circuit employing different diode types for each stage.
The Entity can procuce tones from clean boost to borderline distorted, and when pushed it delivers thick harmonics with a focused midrange and an extended presence range that helps your guitar cut through the mix without the TS-style mid bump.
