Of the (many) new pedal companies that have been popping out in the last few years, Meris has been the most well-received by musicians and critics alike, thanks to a series of releases that marry inspiring circuitry, elegant design, and innovative ideas.
After launching the still hot polyphonic synth pedal Enzo (winner of our Best Pedal of 2018 aggregating poll), the Californian team of 4 hasn’t been resting on its laurels and was able to drop another noteworthy stompbox just in time for our Brooklyn Stompbox Exhibit!
The new device, named Hedra after the suffix of Polyhedra (meaning multiple planes/sides) is a 3-Voice Stereo Rhythmical Pitch-Shifter with tap tempo functionality.
The top left knob lets you choose the key, which can be micro-tuned through the center-top knob, while the three bottom knobs harmonize the fundamental note with pitch-shifted notes going from minus two octaves all the way up to plus two octaves.
