New Pedals: VHT Melo-Verb Tremolo + Reverb

AV-MV1-front-96296a4eda0df89a71721ce16fd2b452[1] Some of the most classic amplifiers in history featured on-board reverb and tremolo effects, which, due to their great design and build quality, sounded spectacular. VHT Amplification came out with a guitar pedal that takes these two classic vintage effects and brings them into the modern era. Dubbed the Melo-Verb, this new stompbox offers reverb and a tremolo that - like in those amps - can be used individually or together, while independent true-bypass switching ensures clarity of signal path.... Wicked pedals seen at NAMM: Industrialectric 4046-M

2118404_orig[1] Another company further pushing the limits of what guitar pedals are capable of is Industrialelectric, out of Toronto. They have created a unit so bizarre that it must be checked out first hand in order to fully grasp everything that it is capable of. Appropriately titled, their latest pedal 4046-M is essentially a voltage controlled oscillator. It works by examining the incoming signal and then splitting it into two distinct intervals. The signal is then run through a modulation circuit, which applies a touch - or a ton - of... sonic "chaos" to it. The pedal sports a whopping 14 pots and 3 switches, so there’s no danger of running out of options anytime soon. It can turn your guitar into a looper, a synth, an 8-bit crushing machine, and SO much more.... Click on the title for more

Chase Bliss Audio Tonal Recall

chase-bliss_52990_1[1] For the uninitiated, Chase Bliss Audio is what our friends at The Deli Mag would call a manufacturer "with buzz." Started by Joel Korte in 2013, the company's first products were born from an intense period of inspiration, which allowed the pedal designer to quickly develop a name for himself, in particular thanks to truly insane levels of attention to detail and functionality,  as extensively demonstrated by the the fact that each Chase Audio Pedal has 16 dip switches in the back, opening up almost infinite tweaking options.... New Pedals at NAMM: Malekko Sneak Attack Compressor with Tap Tempo

sneakattack Another very cool new pedal that was announced at NAMM ’16 is the Malekko Sneak Attack. A unique take on compression, at its core the Sneak Attack is a very warm-sounding VCA analog compressor that can be used in some inspiring ways, not just completely on or off. While it does standard compression very well, it’s when the pedal is used in other ways that it really shines.... Click on the title for more
