For those among you who love ping pong – the delay variety – the NUX Duotime is a multi-mode, Stereo, dual delay engine with simple controls and a very affordable price tag. It also comes with a Loop mode and includes Tap Tempo functionality.
The five modes cover all the basics, from Analog (BBD) to Tape-style delays, to the more clinical-sounding, ’80s inspired Digital setting and the more creative Modulation and Verb modes.
The two channels of repeats can be controlled through two knobs each: you set the tempo via Tab Tempo, and then adjust each delay’s subdivision through the dedicated Time knobs and their number of Repeats with the separate dedicated knobs. The Parameter knob controls varying settings depending on the selected mode, with an OLED display showing the current delay type and delay in Ms or BPM.
Hear how it sounds in the videos below. We added the NUX Duotime to our list of Best Multi-Mode Delay Pedals.
Duotime is a real stereo delay pedal with independent time / sub-division & repeat knobs. In the 80’s, all of the professional musicians used rack-mount effects to run stereo delay. It was the golden era of legendary engineering like Lexicon Delta, TC 2290, Eventide H3000, and more. When we talked to “working musicians” we found that they were looking for a great stereo delay with a compact size and ultra-simple controls. So we discussed the absolutely essential requirements and developed the duotime Dual Delay Engine. It’s ultra-musical, and easy to operate. So, let’s dive-in and experience the most versatile delay pedal ever:
Duotime offers analog delay, tape echo, digital delay, modulation delay, and verb delay.

If this had MIDI in and/or a knob-based master clock it would be killer.
