Mojo Hand FX Dream Mender

Introduced at NAMM 2020, the Mojo Hand FX Dream Mender is an Echo / Chorus / Vibrato based on the classic late ’70s DMM – but much smaller and with many other improvements: twice the delay time, blend knob, clearer repeats, longer feedback, and a more pronounced vibrato effect. It has a SPIN DSP based processor that will never need the originals’ costly and frequently needed BB adjustments.

The Dream Mender is Mojo Hands’ newest DSP based pedal, and is based on a classic from the 70’s often referred to simply as a DMM. We filtered and tweaked for months to obtain the analog bucket brigade chip sound the original is prized for, and condensed it down to a compact three knob format. Where it varies from the original is that it has much clearer feedback repeats, almost double the delay time, and will never need the occasional BB chip re-calibration.

Operation is simple: left of center on the Blend knob is just echo, to the right of center it adds modulation to the echo repeats. A push button selects Chorus or Vibrato for modulation type. The other two knobs are simply Delay time and Feedback. (The DM will also self oscillate when the Feedback knob is maxed similar to an analog pedal)

Our first run of 50 polished and numbered enclosure Dream Menders sold out quickly, but take heart in the fact our second batch is on the way!  They now have a clearcoated brushed finish at an even better price. Thanks for your interest, we hope you have as much fun making music with the Dream Mender as we had creating it!
