The Volta 1987 PRO is the "deluxe" version of the company's 1987 overdrive, a hand made dual Plexi-style pedal (read, it sounds like a Marshall Plexi amp) by an emerging Italian builder that has turned heads and years in the last few years. As specified in the "subtitle" the pedal is voiced after a "Hot Rodded" Plexy amp, referring to the popular modification sound technicians used to do to those amps to make them sound more distorted.... The Xotic XW-1 is a top-notch wah based on the original 1967-68 Clyde McCoy, and the new XW-2 (pictured here in the limited red version) is a streamlined version of it that further refines that design, although losing the four knobs on the right panel that made the original rather unique.
