The Future Factory from Free the Tone is hailed as the world’s first random fluctuating phase modulation pedal. The two delay units can be used in series or parallel modes with controls over virtually every parameter imaginable. It’s not just a delay though, as the name implies. There are a number of high-quality digital modulation effects available including vibrato, tremolo, and panning. There is also clipping controls to add just a little more hair to the delay sound.
It comes with a host of features including inputs for instrument or line level (synthesizers, etc.) signals, tap tempo input, and MIDI support. The controls can seem a bit overwhelming, but there are an almost infinite amount of delay sounds available. – Brandon Stoner
