The Xotic XW-1 is a top-notch wah based on the original 1967-68 Clyde McCoy, and the new XW-2 (pictured here in the limited red version) is a streamlined version of it that further refines that design, although losing the four knobs on the right panel that made the original rather unique. Because of this, it’s also about 1/5th smaller than its sibling.
The custom-designed circuit of the XW-2 is said to optimize your wah tone automatically, delivering the authentic thick, throaty wah texture of the legendary Clyde McCoy wah.
