The Stone Deaf FX PDF-2 is version 2 of the UK manufacturer’s popular PDF Parametric Distortion Filter, with EQ, Boost and Distortion all in one.
It features a Clean/Dirty switch that turns the gain on and off, keeping the EQ in place and a new expression input control feature for wah-wah, phaser, and manual tonal shifts.The new version also offers reduced noise floor, adjustable gain knob, and dual foot-switch for clean and dirty channels.
The PDF-1 was Stone Deaf’s first product and has been used by infamous guitarists such as Josh Homme, Nick Valensi and many others. As the younger brother and the successor to the original pedal, the PDF-2 improves on the design with a reduced noise floor, adjustable gain knob and a dual foot-switch for clean and dirty channels.
