TWA Ladditude

Because of their unique sonic characteristics, including a smooth, warm low-pass filter sound with a pleasing “fat” character, particularly when pushed into overdrive, the so-called “ladder filters” found in vintage analog synths are still highly sought after, even by guitarists. The TWA Ladditude pedal puts that exact circuit at your toe-tips, with a couple of tricks up its sleeve.

With a broad frequency range and operating at +/-15v, its filter can be adjusted manually, via CV, or through audio input. The Drive control allows to add some dirt to the incoming signal, while enhanced headroom enables sharp, precise filtering effects beyond the original circuit’s capabilities.

A global Level control offers up to +22dB of boost, perfect for cutting through dense mixes or overdriving amplifiers. The pedal’s optical envelope detection circuit dynamically adjusts at once filter and resonance settings, unlocking a wealth of unique and experimental sounds—from smooth, liquid envelope sweeps to futuristic bleeps and aggressive, laser-like effects.
