Wicked pedals seen at NAMM: Industrialectric 4046-M

2118404_orig[1] Another company further pushing the limits of what guitar pedals are capable of is Industrialelectric, out of Toronto. They have created a unit so bizarre that it must be checked out first hand in order to fully grasp everything that it is capable of. Appropriately titled, their latest pedal 4046-M is essentially a voltage controlled oscillator. It works by examining the incoming signal and then splitting it into two distinct intervals. Led by Danielle Sullivan's gentle and compassionate voice, Portland's indie pop outfit Wild Ones sounds anything but wild, although they do enjoy experimenting with sounds, which - in a sense - is kind of wild! Their music has the ability to sound at once warmly intimate and somewhat cerebral. This is must be the product of the fusion of the creative minds and talents of Danielle and keyboardist Thomas Himes. We asked them a few questions about their gear and compositional process.... Guitar Pedal News: 4ms Pedals Phaseur Fleur
