The Oneder Effects Wet Hot American Bummer (a pedal that doesn’t have a web page yet), is a multi-voice delay with modulation, reverb, and some other cool tricks up its sleeve.
The basic controls are the same as for any other delay: two big silver knobs controlling the number of Repeats and the delay Time integrated by a Tap Tempo footswitch, a smaller silver knob setting the Mix between wet and dry signal, and a 3-way Subdivision toggle giving you quarter note, 8th notes and triplet options.
All the other controls expand the tonal palette of this pedal, starting with the 3-way Voice toggle on the left, which delivers Digital, Tape, and LoFi voices.
Immediately under it, a Modulation toggle adds either Reverb, or Chorus or a Reverb/Chorus Mix to your signal, and it’s integrated by the Wow knob on the left, adding a random wobbly modulation simulating the wow and flutter of old tape recording machines.
A Noise switch (on the right) also adds some oh-so-nostalgic hiss to the signal for extra character. (For the Mp3 generation, that’s a type of background noise all tape machines added to the recordings.
This pedal should be on sale soon on Reverb.com. In the meantime, though, you can enjoy the following videos of it.
