After years of silence in the realm of pedal releases, renowned pickup designers, Seymour Duncan, return triumphantly with the Dirty Deed Distortion. The Dirty Deed deviates away from the design of previous SD pedals with a re-worked housing and a tightly condensed face. Whereas usually SD pedals used a much larger box, this one comes in standard size without having to compromise any of the controls (standard level and drive knobs on either side with treble and bass mini switches in the middle). Most importantly though, this pedal sounds like a blues rocker’s wet dream. Intrinsically beefy mid-ranges keep the tonal teeth sharp on every configuration of the controls. and frightening gain capability allows for some serious dirt when you want it.
