Mesa, Arizona’s LPD Pedals in recent months has been releasing more streamlined pedals than the company got us used to, and the Embers Overdrive is their four knob take on the simplest and probably most hyped stompbox of all times: the Centaur Klon.
This Klon-inspired circuit adds a Bass knob for extra control, and recreates the magic transparent quality of the original both when used as a simple clean boost or as a tool to saturate your amp’s input.
