The Meris team has introduced an upgraded version of their popular polyphonic synth pedal, the Enzo X, elevating it to the same cutting-edge standards as their latest releases, the LVX Delay and the MercuryX Reverb.
One and a half times wider than its predecessor, the Enzo X sports extra controls for more in-depth editing of the tones, facilitated by a high-definition LCD screen and three navigation knobs. The software has been entirely redesigned, with improvements to every aspect, from oscillators to filters and effects, and the addition of presets and a tuner.
It has 5 Synthesizer modes (including Mono, Polyphonic, and Dry Processing). Each mode utilizes 6 polyphonic voices, each including a set of:
- 2 oscillators,
- filter,
- filter envelope,
- amplifier envelope.
These are then fed into the effect section, which borrows the modular approach of the two previous “X” releases offering the following effect modules:
- 3 reverbs adapted from Mercury X (Prism algorithm)
- 5 Drives (including Bitcrush)
- full stereo 2.5 second Delay
- 5 modulation types.
The Meris Enzo X can also be played via Midi as a standalone synth!
