The Keeley Moon Fuzz is the first new fuzz release of the Oklahoma-based builder in years, and it’s a variant on the fuzz circuit included in their popular Dark Side multi-effect.
This is a rather simple, 3-knob + 1-toggle quad op-amp Muff-style fuzz with a massive tone due to the fact that its four stages of gain and fuzz don’t lose any low end.
It features a filter section that lets you pick among three filter shapes through the toggle switch in the middle of the case: Flat, Full, and Scooped.
The emphasis of this pedal is all in delivering extremely thick, deep, “punishingly heavy” fuzz “designed to extend your guitar or bass frequencies as low as possible.”
