The Fuzzrocious folks filmed the first video of the Knob Jawn at our 2019 Winter NAMM Stompbox Booth (see bottom demo on this page) and we are happy to see surface the first “non-live” videos of it.
According to the builder, the Knob is the only pedal on the market featuring both analog and digital octaving.
This means that the user is able to have a monophonic, dirty analog octave up and polyphonic, cleaner digital octave up and down!
The two circuits can be blended to taste using the big knob. The two smaller knobs are to select the octave (down or up) a mix knob that lets you bring back in some of the clean signal.
The second footswitch inverts the direction of the octave (from up to down and vice-versa).
As you can see from the Living Room Gear Demos video below, the results can be gnarly, which we are sure it’s the word you were waiting to read!
KNOB JAWN is the first pedal on the market (that we know of) that has BOTH analog and digital octaving in a single enclosure. This means that the user is able to have a monophonic, dirty analog octave up and polyphonic, cleaner digital octave up and down!
The user can solo the analog or digital octave. Via the KNOB, the user can blend between the two styles of octave, creating new octave textures previously unavailable anywhere in the effects world.
There are pots to blend your clean signal with the digital octave as well as a blend/solo pot for selecting octave down, octave up, or a blend of the two.
All enclosures will be powdercoated and screenprinted by JuxtaPrints.
