Sometimes a simple device can open up some unexpected creative options or save some space on your board – or both!
NYC’s Electro-Harmonics just unveiled a mini-pedal called Cntl Knob which works a little like an “non-rocking” expression pedal, but with a much smaller footprint.
Two knobs control your Exp 1 and Exp 2 values (i.e. the minimum and maximum Expression values you’d like to send to your pedal’s Exp input). The Cntl Knob’s footswitch allows you to toggle between these two settings, triggering two separate presets or two tones with a different parameter.
A TRS+/- button on the side of the pedal allows for maximum compatibility.
