Wolly of Pensyllvenya-based Champions Leccy has slowly morphed a very peculiar and creative identity for his company: creative and quirky, his devices feature quirky illustrations reminiscent of indie comic books, and the brand new Skitzy, a Dual Modulated Reverb, is no exception.
Blending the circuits (and the names) of two existing pedals, the tremverb Skitter and the lo-fi modulator Woozy, the Skitzy offers two parallel reverb effects: a tremverb and a swayverb.
The two offer unique voicing and modulation options, and other effects including delays and tape-style degradation, and can be blended to create a wide variety of textures and atmospheric tones including tremolo reverb, pitch modulated reverb, ring mod reverb, lofi tape smear reverb, echo reverb, resonant reverb and chaotic oscillating effects.
Various types of modulations can be dialed in, from tremolo to phaser, from tape-style wow and fluffer to pitch modulation (the latter a specialty of the swayverb channel.
The left footswitch triggers a momentary effect that adds feedback to the swayverb channel.
