Named after one of the most popular albums by ZZ Top, the MLA Pedals Germanium Eliminator is a Germanium version of a popular overdrive pedal by Georgia-based builder Missing Link Audio (aka, MLA). The Fulltone OCD is one of the few overdrives out there to deserve the label of "evergreen classic." The Los Angeles based company hasn't been active with new pedals in years (they don't need to, since this is still selling like candy) but they just released a custom Germanium version of it, the OCD-Ge.... British Columbia's SFG Music Supply may be new to the boutique effect pedal scene, but their debut stompbox is a unique and great-sounding overdrive – the Howlerr. Skreddy Pedals has introduced a fuzz pedal, called Kusanagi, that remains true to the original circuit design while including additional, updated features. Many of the esoteric electronic components are included, such as larger carbon resistors, axial capacitors and germanium transistors.... Click on the title for more
The smallsound/bigsound's Team Awesome! Fuzz Machine has all the features of a classic germanium fuzz pedal, but includes a few interesting quirks that lift it a cut above other comparable stompboxes. The interface is easy to understand after a short amount of tinkering, with a dry channel controlled by volume and gain parameters, and a wet channel controlled by volume, fuzz, and shape (tone control) parameters....
