Tremolo enthusiasts who like to sculpt their own modulation waveform should take a look at the Rounder Sounds Zebra-Trem, allegedly “the only tremolo pedal with on-pedal waveform editing,” – and the handy ability to store your creation in presets.
Things are pretty straightforward with controls for Level, Depth and BPM, plus the aforementioned Tap Tempo footswitch, which can replace the BPM knob in setting the tempo of the LFO.
The Wave Edit knob is the control that allows players to modify the LFO wave through a combination of tapping and turnming (the functionality is a little complicated to explain here, but the videos below show how) and also navigate the presets, in particular the one at the very bottom.
