Old Blood Noise Sunlight Dynamic Reverb

If creative reverbs with intriguing momentary effects are your kind of thing, you should take a look at the new pedal by Old Blood Noise, the Sunlight Dynamic Reverb.

The Sunlight doesn’t do “regular” reverb. Its three reverb algorithms are unique and each has the ability to react dynamically to your performance and to freeze the reverb trails when the player stops playing.

Each of the three modes, selectable via a toggle switch, adds to the reverb different extra effects:

• Tape Mode applies a wobbling vibrato
Comb Mode adds stacked resonant delays
• Pass Mode 
gives you random step filtering 

Decay is the only reverb-related knob here, while the Rate and Depth knobs are mode-dependent, controlling the parameters of the non-reverb effect. A useful Mix knob allows reintegrating the clean signal to taste.

The Expression input allows control over Input, Decay, Rate, and Depth parameters, while an Alt footswitch lets you quickly snap to a particular knob setting.
