Combining some of the most necessary elements of a bass rig in a single stompbox, the 3rd edition of the EBS Ultimate Billy Sheehan Signature Drive includes overdrive, compression, tone-shaping, and boost. The signal is split via two parallel audio paths, one clean and one dirty – so it’s like running through two separate amps. There are individual effects loops for each channel, so any type of routing situation is possible. There are 3 switchable compression modes, a phase inverter switch to bring back low end to the overdrive channel, and a frequency switch that focuses on Highs or Lows in the tone shaping section.
