MMK

Hand-built in Alaska, the MMK Electronics Pavlov Fuzz offers a refined take on classic silicon fuzz circuits, available in two distinct models.

Model 1 is built on a Fuzz Face foundation, utilizing rare NOS Fairchild 2N2222A transistors, while Model 2 employs a Darlington Electra circuit for a distinct tonal character. Both versions share key features, including a clan OpAmp delivering a solid and defined tonal foundation, and a footswitch-activated “Cleanup” function that mimics rolling back a guitar’s volume knob—delivering brighter, more articulate tones without manual adjustment. This is particularly useful for transitioning between rhythm and lead tones seamlessly – the amount of roll-back can be handily set via an internal trimmer.

The two knobs deal with level and color: Amplitude knob is your volume control, while Frequency is a 4-way rotary knob that packs four preset tonal variations, effectively doubling the number of tonal options.

Designed for players seeking organic, full-bodied fuzz with practical performance features, the Pavlov Fuzz provides both vintage-inspired textures and modern versatility.
