Arizona-based builder LPD pedals put out their take on the venerable Marshall Blues Breaker style OD, called the Lucent.
Featuring the classic tone/gain/level controls as well as a clipping diode toggle that switches between the classic Blues Breaker voicing and a custom voicing with more headroom, gain, and smoother EQ.
V2 adds a Boost circuit with footswitch and Pre/Post volume controls.
The Lucent can operate on 9-18 volts.

LPD Pedals Lucent Overdrive, Builder’s Notes
The Lucent Overdrive is my celebration of the classic Bluesbreaker circuit. I’ve developed my own approach for the elusive out of production clipping diodes and tweaked the EQ to be more in line with my ideal BB sound. The Level, Tone and Drive controls remain familiar and true to the original. The toggle switch controls two modes of operation. Down is the classic BB sound, feel and response. Up is higher headroom, higher gain, smoother EQ and a different clipping recipe. Allowing for matching different guitars, amps and situations. True bypass, 9-18 volt operation, tour worthy construction.
