The LPD Bedlum Overdrive is a meticulously crafted analog recreation of the legendary #102 D-style amp, famously used by Robben Ford on his Talk To Your Daughter album and tour.
Designed to capture the tone and feel of that era, it features straightforward controls: Master (output level), Drive (preamp gain), Tone (treble shaping, akin to presence), and Mass (pre-clipping bass thickness).
The two footswitches deal with ON/OFF duty and and PAB (preamp boost). which adds not just gain but adds a frequency coloring optimized for lead boost or a heavier rhythm.
Internally, Treble and Mids trimmers fine-tune the D-style tone stack, while Rock, Bright, and Deep voicings are built into the circuit.
Operating at 9-18V DC, it features true bypass with last-state memory and rugged, tour-ready construction.
