Although around 50% wider than the well-received original Andy Timmons’s signature stereo delay, the Keeley Halo Core is a streamlined version of it.
This Core version maintains the 3 modes out of the 5 found in the first version: HALO’ sound, reproducing Andy Timmons’ mysterious “Halo” effect consisting of a modulated dual echo sound, the Quarter Note and Dotted Eighth rhythmic delays.
The three knobs provide control for Time up to 1500 ms), Level, and Feedback or, through secondary functionality, High Pass Filter, Delay Tone, and tape-like Saturation.
The right footswitch deals with Tap Tempo duties or, when held, a momentary Infinite Hold effect that has been redesigned for the occasion for an enhanced sound.
