The Revv Dirt Dog is a soulful, amp-like overdrive born from necessity. When Joey Landreth recorded The Bros. Landreth’s Dog Ear album, he relied on a heavily modified vintage-inspired amp he built himself—a small, quirky Fender Princeton-style circuit that delivered exquisite, harmonically rich breakup but proved too fragile for touring.
