LPD Pedals Eighty7 Deluxe

Arizona’s LPD Pedals (the project of Lawrence Petross) has been building a growing reputation among the dirt box stompbox fanatics. In particular, their Eighty7 Ditortion/Overdrive is considered one of the best boutique Plexi-Style pedals, and it’s particularly appreciated for delivering two gain modes and generous tone-sculpting features.

To celebrate the success of that circuit, the company has unveiled the Eighty7 Deluxe, which two independent channels of the same goodness, with an extra footswitch that lets you alternate between the two.

As in the original, Green mode is percussive and dynamic with plenty of mids to cut through a thick arrangement, while Red mode is more saturated and compressed for liquid leads and chugging palm-muted rhythms.

In addition, it features internal bright switches per channel, soft-touch true bypass switching, top-mounted jacks, and 9-volt operation.
