Vaderin Pedals Tone Fox

Vaderin Pedals is a new, Los Angeles-based builder specializing in dirt boxes. The Tone Fox is an overdrive/distortion “designed to shape your tone through a crisp-yet-warm tube-like gain stage featuring tight lows, thick mids and present highs.”

The Teeth knob behaves in a rather original way:

[turn it] clockwise for increased volume, symmetrical distortion and less compression, or roll it back for a more heavy and asymmetrically compressed distortion tone.

Here are the first videos of the Vaderin Pedals Tone Fox.

The Tone Fox is an overdrive/distortion animal designed to shape your tone through a crisp-yet-warm tube-like gain stage featuring tight lows, thick mids and present highs. Turn up the GAIN knob to break up the NOS germanium transistor for articulate, pick sensitive distortion or roll it back for harmonically rich overdrive.

Watch out! This little guy has some serious teeth. Open up the distortion attack by turning the TEETH control clockwise for increased volume, symmetrical distortion and less compression, or roll it back for a more heavy and asymmetrically compressed distortion tone. The VOL knob controls the output volume of the pedal.

The Tone Fox runs on a standard 9V center negative power supply or 9V battery and is the first custom audio machine to come out of the Vaderin HQ located right outside of Philadelphia, PA USA.
