Stereo is slowly but surely becoming the standard in the stompbox realm, and even though, for obvious reason, this trend began with time-based and modulation effects, it’s now expanding to dirt boxes – coincidentally, we blogged earlier this week about the first stereo pedal guitar amp. One of the big advantages of Stereo effects is that they are very appealing for synth players, not just guitarists.
The Pecan Audio Edera is the first simple Stereo distortion we stumble upon. Hand made, the device is presented as a “Stereo warming unit,” probably to better target synth players not necessarily interested in words like “distortion” or “overdrive.”
The Edera works as a dual-channel effect with one output per channel and two parallel circuits with separate footswitches and three identical controls, consisting in: Sub, Drive, and Volume. The channels can’t be stacked on top of each other.

Using it along with the SUB knob to set the density of higher harmonics.Subtle assembly marks, graphics artifcats, misalignment are always prevented to make the perfect product possible, but please, consider that if present they are totally fine, the pedal is handmade ad each one will be unique.
