A refined version of the Brent Mason signature dual channel the Hot Wire V2, the Wampler ReWired features enhanced tonal options and added versatility, a specialty of the house.
Its dual-channel design covers a wide range of dirty tones, from amp-like overdrive (right channel) to saturated plexi-style distortion (right channel). It produces even punchier tones when the two sides are stacked on top of each other, in whichever order you prefer, thanks to the toggle switch in the middle of the pedal.
Designed to facilitate the Nashville-based guitarist’s needs during his studio sessions, the ReWired’s Overdrive channel delivers low-to-medium gain tones ideal for rhythm parts, while the Distortion channel delivers saturated, harmonic-rich tones perfect for leads.
Each side includes independent Level, Gain, and Tone controls, with Fat knobs for added thickness and a Blend knob on the Overdrive channel to mix in dry signal for added clarity. There are also separate Ins/Outs that allow you to separate the two channels in your pedalboard’s routing order.
