Part of the UK company’s “Vintage Reimagined” series, the Thorpy FX Tacit Blue is not a Blues Breaker variant (as the name might have suggested) but a Fuzz Face one.
Beware, this is a highly modified circuit with a much broader sonic palette than the original, being able to deliver even thick lower gain overdrive tones when the Fuzz knob is set lower.
The other knobs are Smooth, Volume and Bias. Smooth sets the wooliness of the fuzz tone, while the Bias knob adds a little bit more aggression to it.
Enclosed in a beautiful laser-cut black anodised aluminium enclosure, the circuit is built with the highest components and works well in any position within your pedal chain.
