Effects pedal lovers take notice: Infanem (short for Instruments for a New Electric Music) is churning out cool pedals. Originally founded in glorious Portland Oregon, operations have now been moved to Oakland California, where the current product line up is comprised of stunning harmonizers like the Second Voice (and its Deluxe sister) and some epic fuzz units including the Improbability Drive which uses circuitry designed by the Queen of Fuzz Devi Ever. Posturing himself as more than an effects pedal manufacturer, Ken Schurer, mastermind of Infanem, states on the company’s website that future project plans include string instruments using engineering materials and magnetic echo units!
While we are waiting for these new electric music masterpieces check out the latest offering from Infanem the Compact Faye Sing B. A phaser with a multiplex of tonal possibilities.
