The Pulsewave Octave is one of the two pedals NY-based boutique pedal builder Mono Division released in late 2020, featuring -rather uniquely – jack and power inputs on the front case of the pedal, where the knobs are.
The Pulsewave is an all-analog octaver that transforms the guitar signal into a wave-shaped output similar to a pulse wave, which can produce – if dialed correctly – an effect that sounds like multiple octaves above the original tone.
It’s a pedal that interacts with your guitar’s volume:
The higher the amplitude (volume) of the input, the narrower the “pulse width” of the shaped signal. At lower gain settings the Pulsewave Octave shares some characteristics with traditional “octave” effects.

Pulsewave Octave is an all-analog waveshaping octave effect designed by MONO DIVISION. This pedal can transform your input signal into a waveshaped output that is similar to a pulse wave.
