Korora Audio, a small pedal builder out of Seattle with edgy ideas, launched at the Summer show 2019 their second effect called Merlo, a harmonic tremolo with three waveforms and an interesting coloring circuit featuring four frequency bands (rather than the usual two) all interacting with the shape of the tremolo.
The top toggle switch lets you chose from three different tone-shaping modes:
- a traditional flat one in the top position
- one with a mid-peak focus in the mid position, where the frequency is selected through the color knob
- a setting that rolls off the high frequencies for a warmer tone, also controlled through the color knob
The Korora Audio Merlo is now shipping. Here are the videos of it.
