Danelectro Spring King Junior Reverb

Looking at a picture of the Danelectro Spring King Junior can be misleading. Without a spatial contest, it may look like a mini pedal, but the size of the footswitch is an obvious clue that this is no small stompbox, and for a straightforward reason: it’s a real spring reverb pedal.

This being said it’s still a pretty compact pedal, slightly wider than a regular compact stompbox, and under 6′ in depth.

Inspired by the company’s discontinued but ever-loved 1999 Spring King Reverb, this Junior version loses the Volume knob but keeps the original’s big sound, based on a real spring tank with 3 springs, in a more compact format.

We added the Spring King Jr to our comprehensive article about the best spring pedals.
