The Daddy Daughter My Little Klony is the latest addition to the ever-expanding family of Klon Clones (aka, “klones”).
This particular variant on the most hyped overdrive circuit in the history of pedals does not attempt to improve or expand the sound of the original but, like several others, simply recreates it at a much more affordable price point (around $130), using an in-house designed circuit board.
What you get here is the usual three-knob configuration (gain, treble, output), a transparent, high-headroom overdrive using NOS D9E clipping diodes matched to the original specs (we’ll let you judge how close to the original it sounds), in a stompbox built by a father-daughter team with an adorable, anime-style image of a lady centaur on it.
