Keeley NocturneThe ongoing creative partnership between Keeley Electronics and revered guitarist Andy Timmons (a very active pedal collaborator!) has yielded some of modern guitar’s most distinctive atmospheric tools, from the HALO Dual Echo onward. Their latest collaboration, the Keeley Nocturne, isolates and refines the expansive spatial component central to Timmons’ signature sound. Developed to provide that same “haunting beauty and tonal atmosphere” as a dedicated effect, it offers a uniquely lush and emotive character distinct from conventional reverb algorithms.

Offering 3 core modes (the signature, ambient Nocturne voicing, alongside classic Spring and Plate emulations), the pedal provides a broad palette from subtle room bloom to cinematic washes. Control is intentionally immediate via a simple four-knob layout (Tone, Level, Decay, Modulation), facilitating quick, expressive shaping. A Preset switch allows instant recall of a stored setting for each mode, with a bi-color LED indicating live (blue) or stored (red) control states.

The Nocturne mode is designed to replicate the lush, trailing spatial quality that defines Andy Timmons’ recorded and live guitar tone

Designed on Keeley’s robust Core platform, the Nocturne is built for professional integration. It features selectable true or buffered bypass, trails on/off, stereo operation (wet/dry or wet-only), full expression pedal control, and extensive MIDI implementation with access to up to 72 presets.

Handbuilt in Oklahoma, USA, the Nocturne translates Timmons’ specific, inspiring ambient vocabulary into a versatile and roadworthy pedalboard tool, equally suited to crafting subtle depth or vast, trailing soundscapes.
