The Crazy Tube Mirage Jr. condenses the Greek company’s powerful studio reverb engine into a compact, intuitive pedal, offering 16 immersive algorithms divided into two distinct banks. A shift push-switch toggles between the Outer Circle bank (in blue), featuring natural and vintage reverbs like Plate, Spring, and Hall, and the Inner Circle, dedicated to ambient and experimental textures including Shimmer, Modulated, and Freeze effects.
Control is streamlined yet deep. The Swell knob adjusts decay time or size, while the Excite knob is context-sensitive, controlling parameters like brightness, modulation depth, or pitch-shift mix depending on the selected algorithm. This allows each reverb type to be finely tailored from subtle enhancement to vast, evolving soundscapes.
Performance features include true or buffered bypass (with trail preservation), an expression pedal input, and a ramp footswitch that can be assigned to smoothly control either Swell or Excite for dynamic, real-time sweeps. An internal Kill Dry switch enables 100% wet output for parallel processing setups.
