Known for their popular pedalboards, Pedaltrain just entered the actual pedal arena by releasing their two debut stompboxes: the Daylight Overdrive and the Nightlight Distortion.
Both effects prioritize simplicity and tone, and went through a whole year of testing by renowned Nashville session players with various guitar/amp combinations. That’s also where the circuits were designed and built.
The Nighlight is an asymmetrical distortion with a dark and full-bodied tone and dynamic response. The pedal was designed to work well with both single coils and humbuckers, and even though its gain range goes from low to mid-high distortion, it’s capable of delivering an open and uncompressed tone even at higher gain settings.
