The company behind the respected Captor loadbox series and the Cab M, has announced Two notes ReVolt, a 3-channel guitar amp simulator/DI featuring an all-analog signal path, a 12AX7 preamp tube, integrated OD-boost circuit with dedicated switching and level control, and Analog Cab Sim for seamless DI whether in the studio or on stage.
It includes a trio of tonally-distinct channels geared towards the modern player and inspired by a Fender Bassman 100, a Marshall JMP Superlead and a Soldano SLO 100.
- Channel 1/American Clean – clean foundation tone with lots of headroom but warmly breaks up when pushed.
- Channel 2/British Crunch – punchy cleans and classic lead tones a la Hendrix, Van Halen, Clapton.
- Channel 3/Modern Lead – tight, sustaining, high gain modern amp tones
ReVolt contains a 12AX7 preamp tube running at 200V which aims to enrich your DI tone and provide that characteristic sag and saturation of an all-tube amp.
Two Notes also announced their new Genome software, an in-depth IR cabinet simulation program that comes with hundreds of amplifiers, microphones, and studio effects, intended as a destination for the ReVolt series or any load-box connected amplifier.
