The Spruce Kenai Fjords is a pedal celebration of Alaska’s National Park, and part of the company’s Junior Ranger Series, all inspired by North American wilderness resorts. It’s a digital delay pedal housed in a 1590BBS enclosure reproducing the viscous sound of the vintage oil can delays, an ephemeral technology that has been rediscovered for its peculiar tonal character.
The first row of knobs controls Mix (wet/dry balance), Time (delay length), and Feedback (repeats).
The second row adjusts Balance (modulation), Grit (warm preamp and worn out oil and disk heads simulation), and Mode, which toggles between
- Adineko (guitar, 300ms) and
- OrganTone (organ, 150ms) settings.
As that was not enough, each box includes a custom “Junior Park Ranger” pin, cloth bag, and stickers.
