Fender Hammertone Overdrive

The Fender Hammertone Overdrive is one of the units from the new series of affordable pedals released by the guitar giant that’s getting the best reviews.

The circuit has a peculiar twist represented by the Pre-Mid Boost knob, which integrates the classic Tone control by adding or cutting mid frequencies before the gain stage, therefore radically changing the character for the saturation at different settings, from more transparent and woolly to punchy and present.

An internal trim-pot allows to dial down the high frequencies to tame single-coil pickups and bright amps or simply shape your tone further.
