“Overall, the experience was incredible, we were SO busy all day and it couldn’t have gone better. The level of traffic was superb. I was very satisfied with the number of people interacting with our gear. You cannot replicate getting hands-on with our pedals and hearing them with your own ears. Events like yours are essential, in my opinion, and a perfect companion to YouTube videos.” – Doug (Chase Bliss)

“We were incredibly happy with this event: great venue, good level of attendees, and very busy all the time. The traffic felt way more “fluid” and natural this year. We were very happy with the number of interactions and sales, consider us confirmed for 2025.” – Tom (Source Distribution)

“Size/cost/traffic ratio is exceptional. The location was lovely, and the organization before the show was great and clear. The show offered 10 times more opportunities than I expected. We had a lot of fun talking with the visitors, who are mainly experienced musicians and who gave us honest user feedback and ideas.” – Valentin (Filling Distribution)

“I was very happy with it. It was exceptionally well attended, by an audience we want to reach. Every machine was almost constantly in use by first-timers or seriously considering buyers. There was a good mix of niche modular gear and more established hardware.” – Alex (Novation, Sequential, Oberheim)

“This event had a higher person per-minute rate than Superbooth (which I did for 7 years). It was a very good show, in a great neighborhood and a cool venue. The rate of competent people was generally higher than the average fair. I was happy to be interviewed by SonicState. Keep my spot for next year! – Ste’ (Euterpe Synthesizer Laboratories)

“The show was over expectations and the overall feeling I’ve communicated to the rest of the company is very positive. The booth was packed constantly from 12-18 and there was a good flow in the venue. It’s very important to see how users interact with them and hear their thoughts. – Christian (Elektron)

“Very happy indeed. The flow of visitors was rather intense on Saturday. Sunday felt more comfortable and the visitors very likely preferred that relaxed energy as they had more time to try our products.” – Nico (BOSS)

“We are happy with the event. It was incredibly busy, the location was neat and close to lots of bars and restaurants.” – John (BASTL Instruments)

“We were very happy with this event, the traffic was great. The exposure and public awareness we get from it are fantastic for us – and unquantifiable. We sold a lot of pedals! The presentation was also good, there was a nice little crowd who stayed till the end. The equipment set up for it was excellent. And it even ran on time!” – David (Rainger FX)

“HUGE CONGRATS! What an amazing weekend. Everyone I spoke to was really happy and taken aback (positively) by it. People selling seemed to sell a lot too. I spent a lot of time speaking to punters too who were impressed. So well done, it takes a lot to put events on and it was done very well.” – Ben (DivKid)

“All in all it was great: friendly team and visitors. Saturday was crowded the whole time and our booth was highly frequented. We didn’t have five minutes without interaction. Sunday was a little less but there was almost no time without people at the booth. The event gave us a chance to talk through the pedals with the visitors and to go into the details if they had specific questions, and also to introduce them to new pedals and brands they weren’t aware of.” (Face Distribution team)

“Good to be back at this well-organised event in London and its much-improved location for 2024. While crowded, our various brand’s pedalboards were generally busy throughout the event. We like to encourage lingering and in-depth testing, so we had a fair number of people who went through most, if not all the boards spending a considerable amount of time at the show.” – Phil (Audio Distribution Group)

“We were very happy with the overall experience. The traffic was consistent but not overwhelming, the staggered entry system was successful as there didn’t seem to be anybody struggling to get in. We really like that the show is free entry as it allows people who are even just curious about synths (or pedals) access to the gear without the commitment of buying a ticket. We saw a younger crowd at this event, which is refreshing. See you next year!” – Will (Thonk)

“Congrats on another successful event! I really liked it and looking forward to the next one in Berlin. Although I’ve only attended for a couple of hours each day I feel that the traffic was great, especially on Saturday. – Christos (Crazy Tube Circuits)

“I had a super good time, interested customers, I liked it a lot. The traffic was perfect. The shortish opening hours leave you fresh enough for day 2.” – Manu (Exploding Shed)

“Happy with the footfall/ general vibe, happy with the load-in/out, happy with the guys exhibiting around me! I couldn’t have handled much more traffic. There was a constant flow of people for most of the two days.” – Steve (Audio Kitchen)

“I thought the event was a success for us particularly in terms of media coverage. I’ve now been converted to headphone-only events. Sign me up for 2025!” – Jason (Knobula)

“Good experience, enjoyable show, lot of traffic, plenty to build on next time. Strengths: huge public interest, strongly marketed, keenly taken up by many manufacturers, cool little venue, ran on time, proactive organiser.” – Bobby (guitarguitar)

“Great, I think it was an overall success – nicely done. Very enjoyable event, big enough to warrant a visit, small enough to make it fun and personal – I expect we’ll be back.” – Nick (SonicState)

“I was very happy with this event. BOSS has been utilising headphone monitoring at shows for several years now which allows a more personal and unique experience of our products.” – Mark (BOSS)

“It was great, with a busy, steady flow of people. I liked the venue, the location, and the crowd was nice. Having stall neighbours big and small nearby was inspiring. The branding rules were fair and worked well. Headphone-only events are better. – Jack (Laine)

“We were overall happy with the event, the traffic was busy but manageable with a good turnout and crowd. We were happy with the number of sales and interactions. Events like this allow for better discussions and demos that are tailored to individual needs. – Paul (KMR Audio)

“Very happy, it was a really smoothly run event. We met some great people and the response from visitors was very positive. The level of traffic was good, it was continuous and well regulated – we didn’t feel overwhelmed and equally we felt anyone who wanted to try our equipment was given the chance with minimal waiting around. The headphones only, small table format with minimum branding was really great for us. We felt it prevented small brands like ourselves being lost among the bigger brands.” – James (Auza)

“We were happy with the complete event as it was our first time. There were enough vendors on the FX side and a very good atmosphere. Enough room for people to get about even when it was busy, especially on Saturday, when sales were also fantastic! ” – Paul (Flattley Pedals)

“Good show, there was enough traffic to keep two or three of us busy at all times. We sold 24 units. – Giulio (Bela)

“The traffic was steady and relatively manageable. We were never completely overwhelmed by visitors and the staggered entry times worked well. There was a pretty wide range of customer types, from people who knew nothing at all about synths/modular to people who were quite knowledgeable. Some of the pros of this event were good location; headphone demos (which make the experience much less draining); good chance to meet other brands/distributors.” – Aleks (Signal Sounds)

“The event was very well attended and was insightful to our customer demographic. There was a lot of interest in our pedals and what we are doing. We will be very keen to attend next year. – Fenn (Laney Amplification, Black Country Customs)

“It’s a unique and must-have event. With its impressive synth community London deserves this event. As expected, there were a lot of visitors, with non-stop intense traffic. – Girts (Erica Synths)

“I was pleased with the experience. The venue’s location was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The SPXPO offers a unique opportunity for direct engagement with potential customers, which is invaluable. Additionally, the chance to collaborate and create content with influencers at the event adds another layer of visibility and credibility.” – Jon-Mark (Apollo View)

“Strong organization, great crowd, good venue and atmosphere. Good mix of people, ages, genders and musical interests (guitarists, synthesists, enthusiasts,..). I wouldn’t want to miss next year’s show. – Boris (Joranalogue)

“Overall the experience was positive. Good vibe, good location, good people, and a constant flow of visitors. The main pros are that you can touch the equipment, talk to manufacturers and see the people’s faces when they demo your gear. – Giorgio (Officina del Malista)

“We were fairly happy with the show. We made lots of contacts, the location was awesome and the public was interested in the products. We’ve been busy almost the whole time. We are planning to come back” – Gaëtan (Audiolithe)

“It was an enjoyable experience and a great chance for visitors to handle and try out our products in person.” – Paul (IK Multimedia)

“For me, the value of the expo is getting to meet the media and dealers in person and connect with them. What I liked about the show was the quality of the visitors. On the downside, I wish it had been busier. I am very interested in next year’s event. – Olly (Tubesteader)

” Great event! I was happy with the traffic and the number of interactions.” – Dominik (ThinkRad.io)
